Join OUR INITIATIVES!

The launch of the Evergreen@Church and Evergreen@School Initiative to schools and churches in South-Africa brings great opportunity and growth for all involved.

We encourage all Evergreen and Tall Trees Facilitators to be part of these initiatives. Together we can make a difference in communities, schools, households and the lives of children in South Africa.

Background info

For more information please visit the pages on our website for information about these initiatives that are already open to the general public.

YouR role in these initiatives

Evergreen Parenting Facilitators have been serving parents with the traditional seven-week parenting course for 16 years now. More recently the Core Value course format added another service offering to a facilitator’s portfolio. Tall Trees Facilitators have presented temperament workshops to learners, educators and parents.

Participation in the Evergreen@Church and/or Evergreen@School Initiative brings yet another service offering to a facilitator’s options.

Explore the roles you can play below. Each situation is unique and depends on the church/school’s preference. However, we anticipate the possible needs and make suggestions on the roles you can play in each scenario.

What is your role?

Sponsorship

In the event that a school or church activates a Sponsorship program (where the school takes out a group subscription and parents and educators have access to The Parenting Garden video-course) we anticipate that they might be interested in:

  • Live Q&A sessions with an Evergreen Parenting Facilitator (services)
  • Tools to implement Evergreen principles, like the rules-umbrella (products)
  • Tall Trees Profiles and/or workshops
  • Someone to drive this campaign

You can be their go-to person!

Negotiate the how, what, where, and your fee for additional services like the Q&A sessions or workshops directly with the school/church. The parents/educators will most probably buy tickets from you directly. You will not have to pay royalty fees to Hettie Brittz for the use of her IP during these contact sessions. This is because the school’s/church’s order on the website would have calculated the royalty automatically.

Market any top-up products to the parents/educators, and you can earn 12% commission on the sales of these.

Tip: Offer to drive the marketing campaign on the school/church’s behalf. You can also act as the Evergreen Admin person to manage the dashboard activities.

Membership

In the event that a school or church activates a Membership program (parents and educators receive a discount if they purchase their own access to The Parenting Garden video-course) we anticipate that they might be interested in:

  • Live Q&A sessions with an Evergreen Parenting Facilitator (services)
  • Tools to implement Evergreen principles, like the rules-umbrella (products)
  • Tall Trees Profiles and/or workshops
  • Someone to drive this campaign

You can be their go-to person!

Negotiate the how, what, where, and your fee for additional services, like the Q&A sessions or workshops directly with the school/church. The school/church might consider to pay you for this service. You will not have to pay royalty fees to Hettie Brittz for the use of her IP during these contact sessions. This is because the parent’s/educator’s order on the website would have calculated the royalty automatically.

Market any top-up products to the parents/educators and you can earn 12% commission on the sales of these.

Tip: Offer to drive the marketing campaign on the school/church’s behalf.

Fundraising

In the event that a school or church activates a Fundraising program (they will earn 12% of every sale of every product on this website) we anticipate that they might be interested in:

  • Someone to drive their marketing campaign
  • Live Talks to share the advantages of Evergreen content
  • Tall Trees Profiles and/or workshops

You can be their go-to person!

Offer to drive the marketing campaign on the school/church’s behalf by sending reminders on Facebook or WhatsApp groups, for example. Market the Parenting Garden, as well as any other product, to the parents/educators. Present Evergreen’s free talk – the 7 Potholes of Parenting – as a means to get parents interested. (We already created templates).

Negotiate the how, what, where, and your fee for the Q&A sessions aimed at individuals that opted for the Parenting Garden video-course, or Tall Tree workshops, directly with the school/church. Please consider to donate part of your income towards the school/church’s fundraising project as the main goal of this initiative is to generate funds for the school. You will not have to pay royalty fees to Hettie Brittz for the use of her IP during these contact sessions. This is because the parent’s/educator’s order on the website would have calculated the royalty automatically.

Involvement options:

A facilitator has two options to become part of this initiative, depending on how actively you are part of the awareness campaign.

1. Be a Champion

= active role – you go to schools/churches in your community.

A facilitator can act as a champion for specific schools and/or churches in your community.

You will contact these organizations and inform them about the Evergreen@School or Evergreen@Church Initiative. You will offer to be their go-to person and be available for questions, advice and additional services.

These organizations will be flagged and you will be included in the partnership between the school/church and EverGrowth if they register for any of the initiative options. This is to give you the opportunity to market your personal services to them directly.

2. Be Available

= passive role – add your name to our list.

A facilitator can add his/her name to our list of “Available Facilitators.”

In the event that a church/school is interested in additional services by an accredited Evergreen Facilitator, we will supply your contact details. This is only when the school / church does not have a Champion.

Facilitators that indicate that they are available for these initiatives also commit te be prepared by studying the contents of The Parenting Garden video-course to enable them to offer a professional service.

This service can be presented in person face-to-face, but most likely on a virtual platform like Zoom or Teams.

Thank you!
