Journey through the Parenting Garden by age group

This product is a membership to access videos by Hettie Brittz on this website.

For the first time ever, parents can access videos that cover all the Evergreen Parenting principles for their child’s age group.

There are three separate video-based courses:

• Tiny Trees – for parents with children between 0 and 5 years old;**
• Tween Trees – for parents with children between 6 and 11 years old;**
• Teen Trees – for parents with children aged 12 years and up.**

**Parents can purchase access to any individual age group, or save with a combo deal to purchase access to any two age groups, or even all three age groups. Membership can be on a monthly or yearly basis. Read more details below.

Each course answers these questions, with details relevant to the specific age group:

• What should parents focus on during this developmental phase? Understand normal physical, cognitive, emotional and moral development. Discover the really important milestones of psycho-social development. Learn how to create an environment that facilitates the healthy development of your child.
• What lessons can we learn from God’s example of parenting? Reflect on your own experiences.
• What parenting style is the most suitable for the child’s age? Discover your own default style and make style shifts if necessary.
• What impact does temperament knowledge have on parenting? Why parenting is not a one-size-fits-all experience and why what works for one child doesn’t work for the next. Recognise typical traits of temperament types in children in each age group and receive tips for raising each type to their full potential.
• What are the parent’s own temperament’s strengths and natural gifts in relation to parenting? Identify your own strengths and learn how to use those gifts in this phase of parenting.
• How do parents transfer their values to their children? Learn to implement strategies to ensure an environment where norms and values are internalized.
• How do parents love their children in such a way that they feel accepted? Acquire the knowledge of the needs of your child in this phase and ways to fill their tanks with practical ideas.
• How do parents secure their child’s heart and soul from unwanted influences? Develop skills to ensure a healthy relationship with your child, built on trust and respect, referred to as healthy authority.
• How do parents communicate with children and teach them healthy skills? Master the ability to speak and listen to your child.
• How do parents discipline with the necessary amount of compassion? Take note of the behaviour that can be expected in each age group and be proactive with strategies to correct misbehaviour to develop character.
• Why do parents need to celebrate the growth in each age group? Become skilled at noticing growth in yourself and your child.
• How do parents prepare for the next season? Receive a glimpse into what lies ahead to avoid being caught off guard.

**Evergrowth offers the following options:

These videos are available as a membership subscription. Subscribers gain access by purchasing a membership for as long as they need, with the option to cancel anytime. There are monthly and yearly payment options:

• Monthly Subscriptions have a sign-up fee payable immediately, followed by a monthly fee until you cancel. Access to the videos expires when the subscription is canceled.
• Yearly Subscriptions have a once-off fee payable immediately. Access to the videos expires on the one-year anniversary. You will have the option to renew the subscription if necessary.

1. Save with a Yearly Subscription

Are you fired up and eager to complete this journey in a few months, or do you need less pressure? Maybe you prefer to listen to or watch content more than once? Or you might know that you chew on info longer and process it over time.  You can take your time and journey at your own pace.

We suggest that you take advantage of our Yearly Subscription option:

• Obtain access to the videos for one year (12 months.)
• Make a once-off payment that totals less than the monthly subscription cost of 12 months would have been.

2. Save with a Combo Deal

Do your children fall into more than one age group? Maybe you have a 10-year-old son (thus a tween tree), but your daughter is already turning 13 (a teen tree)? Or maybe your firstborn is in primary school (a tween tree), but you have two toddlers (tiny trees) in pre-school? It is even more important that you equip yourself to cope with all the opposing needs of your children.

You can opt to take advantage of our Combo deal. Obtain access to the videos of more than one age group and save.

• Save R20/month or R300/year when you buy access to TWO age groups.

Just a reminder again: Tiny Trees are between 0 – 5 years old; Tween Trees are between 6-11 years old; Teen Trees are 12 years and up.

The content:

The format:

• Three separate online courses, entitled The Tiny Trees Parenting Garden; The Tween Trees Parenting Garden and The Teen Trees Parenting Garden. Parents buy access to one, two or all three.
• Each online course consist of videos by Hettie Brittz. (At least 62 videos and 4,5 hours of watching time, per course.)
• The course are structured into 11 modules with sub-lessons to present the content in a meaningful way. Video length are between 4 and 10min each.
• Subscribers that purchased access will have to login on the website and watch the videos via streaming. (You will not be able to download the videos as to protect the intellectual property rights.)
• The system bookmarks your progress.

How do I get started?

• Choose the SUBSCRIPTION OPTION that you prefer by toggling to Monthly or Yearly payments.
• Choose the AGE GROUP(S) that you want to purchase access to by toggling to the correct name.
• Click on the SIGN UP NOW button to add the applicable product to your cart.
• Complete the CHECKOUT process and make payment.
  • For Monthly Subscriptions: The sign-up fee will be deducted immediately. The first monthly payment will be deducted 30 days later and continue every month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime.
  • For Yearly Subscriptions: The once-off amount will be deducted immediately.
• Access the course content immediately under MY PROFILE > MY COURSES after payment was successful.
• You can watch the videos as many times as you need.
